Jenny moved to Worcester from Cornwall in the early 2010s, to study politics and English. There, she became best friends with Zac, with whom she spent many ‘all nighters’ discussing all things politics, gender theory and Game of Thrones. After her undergraduate degree she went to Manchester to study for a masters degree. Her career since has spanned both policy and social research, and she has worked in Wales, London, Brussels and Spain. She currently works in Wales, where she works with public bodies to help them achieve their ambitions on sustainability. Having lost one of her closest friends to suicide, she wants to use her skills to support the charity deliver maximum impact for people looking to improve their mental health, and also those going through a similar bereavement.
